Experimental and first-principles design of novel artifical solids made from nanoscale building blocks; Electronic, optical and magnetic properties of nanostructures; Low temperature transport studies in low dimensional materials
Prof. Ray has a B. Sc. (H) from Hansraj College, University of Delhi (2006), M. Sc. in Physics from IIT Delhi and Ph. D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA (2014).

Aditi specializes in charge transport measurements on colloidal quantum dot assemblies, and fabrication of high mobility QD FETs.
Sampriti is working on high entropy alloy based metasurfaces for electromagnetic shielding applications.
Kruti is working on tuning the electrical and optical properties of conducting polymers using 2D materials as fillers.
